Damir Pongrac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Guimarães having to interfere. Ilija Skugor made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Vinícius Britto sent off a good shot on target. Denílson Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Skugor having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Gerber came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the LUXÚRIA FC defense, Damir Pongrac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan Guimarães. The LUXÚRIA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Guimarães should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Croatia's Martin Bosak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yan Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yan Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Mauzer in the 41st minute of the match. Dinko Stankovic might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yan Guimarães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinko Stankovic ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, LUXÚRIA FC's Eugênio Hermes got a free kick in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tião Vianna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Neven Culina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Martin Bosak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Roger Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. LUXÚRIA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Bosak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yan Guimarães having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Martin Bosak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Croatia reached it. After having played for 90 minutes, Toni Mauzer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Croatia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toni Mauzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yan Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Mauzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Martin Bosak struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Yan Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croatia. After a defensive mix-up in LUXÚRIA FC's zone, Damir Pongrac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Guimarães came out of the goal and Damir Pongrac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Damir Pongrac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Croatia's supporters rose to their feet, but Damir Pongrac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yan Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The LUXÚRIA FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Croatia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
