The coaching staff of Denmark protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Simon Bendtsen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 35th minute, one of Denmark:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Denmark. Lukas Arts charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukas Arts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Lukas Arts kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
