Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maksymilian Oliszewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Felipe Barreto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maksymilian Oliszewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 8th minute, Raul Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugeniusz Rykaczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maksymilian Oliszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Roberto Lewandowski sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute of the match SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cezary Chrzan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Cezary Chrzan to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Rykaczewski in the 27th minute of play. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Roberto Lewandowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 32nd minute, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Roberto Lewandowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Maksymilian Oliszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 35th minute of the match. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maksymilian Oliszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Maksymilian Oliszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Portugal got a corner. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Barreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabricio Andrade was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.

Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Maksymilian Oliszewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 53rd minute. Maksymilian Oliszewski was a little too slow when Felipe Barreto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 2-2. Maksymilian Oliszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 62nd minute of play forced SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Maksymilian Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maksymilian Oliszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 78th minute of the match. Felipinho Amorim struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Maksymilian Oliszewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Maksymilian Oliszewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute Roberto Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 88th minute of play forced SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Maksymilian Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in SMOCZANKA MIELEC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! After a long run with the ball, Daniel Pimentel did a trick in the 93rd minute in front of SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 3-3. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Klimkiewicz in the 96th minute of play. Maksymilian Oliszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 98th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
