Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Fortunato Montini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GG Team FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Wim Wilmes scored to the left of an out of position Fortunato Montini, making the score, 1-0. David Eikelkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Fortunato Montini made a huge save. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Fortunato Montini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as GG Team FC's Miguel Borja slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-1 after 55 minutes of play. GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 62nd minute of play. Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Bernardo Scandella capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernardo Scandella really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Miguel Borja sent off a good shot on target. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Fortunato Montini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 90th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
