Romania's Octavian Vaduva was substituted for Costica Vladimiri. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Txerran Mortal was substituted for Loco Mønster. 72 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Bentkowski came free, but Carol Stinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romania's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
