Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hannover Reds's Willi Tilmann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Willi Tilmann notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willi Tilmann in the 9th minute of the match. Katona Janos's late challenge caught a Hannover Reds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Katona Janos helped the player get up and apologised. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Argina in the 16th minute of play. Otfried Mutke hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernd Yuschni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 23rd minute of play. Willi Tilmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Yuschni having to interfere. Antal Valentin might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernd Yuschni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antal Valentin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute Emilio Argina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hannover Reds's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernd Yuschni came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Katona Janos got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Willi Tilmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

53 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernd Yuschni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Vörös Henrik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hannover Reds's Bernd Yuschni did a great save. Hegedus Henrik was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hannover Reds's Bernd Yuschni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Hannover Reds from getting a goal against them. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 61st minute. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hannover Reds's Bernd Yuschni did a great save. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Hungary's Major Barna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Bernd Yuschni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Argina in the 84th minute of the match. Vörös Henrik kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernd Yuschni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 minutes of play, Hannover Reds's Emilio Argina made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Hannover Reds had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
