Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeremy Mathie hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Floodish FC were furious when Jeremy Mathie was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Floodish FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Portugal's Felipe Barreto got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Keith Scotland. Keith Scotland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 13th minute. Graciano Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Keith Scotland made a huge save. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo McNeish, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jake Enrick was slow to take the kick. During this time Floodish FC's players had a chance to rest. Jonathan McDaniell kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Floodish FC's Willie McLeay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Felipe Barreto made a precise shot to the right of Keith Scotland. Floodish FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 39th minute of play forced Floodish FC's goalkeeper Keith Scotland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Viriato Moura kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Keith Scotland. That made the score 3-1 in the 40 minute of play. Viriato Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viriato Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Johnny Davie struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floodish FC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theo McNeish was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Johnny Davie tried to sneak it across the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jake Enrick. Theo McNeish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Floodish FC's Keith Scotland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 57th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Theo McNeish took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Jake Enrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Jake Enrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Johnny Davie scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 3-3. In the 74th minute, Theo McNeish got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jake Enrick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Floodish FC's Sam Fletcher. But to his dismay, Sam Fletcher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Enrick in the 82nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Floodish FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Paddy McNeish hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Davie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keith Scotland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolomeu Dias's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Bartolomeu Dias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keith Scotland was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
