Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off which started today's match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Luiz Matorin having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in AS Pikachuzim's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Matorin came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Pedro Luiz Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Arantes in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by AS Pikachuzim's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Pedro Luiz Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 20th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luiz Matorin. AS Pikachuzim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 31st match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. AS Pikachuzim's Laerte Toscano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arnout Reekers but with some difficulty. In the 36th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 38th minute. The corner ended in Lars Meesters almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AS Pikachuzim's Pedro Luiz Matorin did a great save. 39 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AS Pikachuzim's Pedro Luiz Matorin. Pedro Luiz Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Pedro Luiz Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Gildo da Fonseca. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Luiz Matorin made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute, Lars Meesters made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luiz Matorin. AS Pikachuzim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 60th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Gildo da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Rodolfo Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Netherlands booed when AS Pikachuzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired a really elegant long shot, but Pedro Luiz Matorin threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Pedro Luiz Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Pinheiro in the 77th minute of play. Pedro Luiz Matorin was a little too slow when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Pinheiro during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodolfo Pinheiro hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Luiz Matorin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pedro Luiz Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 88th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Pedro Luiz Matorin threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Denílson Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luiz Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 94 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Carneiro. Pedro Luiz Matorin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AS Pikachuzim throughout the match.
