Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Viriato Moura kicked off to start the match. If Gino Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. After having played for 14 minutes, Gino Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porvir FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gino Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gino Moreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Wilson Amorim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Augusto Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 20th minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Portugal's Caetano Moreira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Augusto Soeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gino Moreira came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilson Amorim could save by the left post. Porvir FC's João Augusto Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Porvir FC defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Augusto Soeiro. The Porvir FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Augusto Soeiro should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Gino Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Gino Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Edu França reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 2-2. In the 46th minute, Felipe Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gino Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rodrigo Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu França in the 55th minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Edu França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Quirino in the 60th minute of play. Antonio Smith hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. João Augusto Soeiro was a little too slow when Felipe Barreto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 2-3. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Moreira in the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Porvir FC's Evandro Penha got a free kick in the 71st minute. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. In the 72nd match minute, Porvir FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Penha to maneuver through the defense. Gino Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Moreira in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Porvir FC's Gino Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Gino Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Gino Moreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. If Gino Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Quirino succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-3. In the 97th minute, Daniel Pimentel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
