Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futbol Club RRFV the free kick. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes, Albin Holweck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Futbol Club RRFV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Didi Castro shot from long distance in the 11th minute, but Tommy Kahn was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Jarbas Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Jarbas Correia hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Albin Holweck got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 27 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Velasco saved Futbol Club RRFV from getting behind. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Jarbas Correia hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Linus Schwerner charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adhemar Cavalcante was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, André Luís Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futbol Club RRFV's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luís Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adhemar Cavalcante in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Hermes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jarbas Correia during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Linus Schwerner hit a great ball. A hard shot 71 in the game by Frank Sachs from a close distance when the talented Angelo Velasco managed to make a qualified save. Futbol Club RRFV's players were relieved. A sloppy throw-in by Jarbas Correia in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Janik Vogt. Ulisses Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adhemar Cavalcante struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futbol Club RRFV. Germany's Janik Vogt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jarbas Correia in the 84 minute of the game. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zézinho Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Futbol Club RRFV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho Hermes couldn't finish the play. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Angelo Velasco made a huge save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
