Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Treppa in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Aranda in the 7th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Kamal Pahlevi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spain's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Omar Toledo in the 8th minute. The corner ended in Omar Toledo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonard Treppa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Ascaso. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 15th minute, Iván Arraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Omar Toledo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kamal Pahlevi. Tirant lo Blanch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jonatan Raymundo made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Song Peng Han immediately put the ball in play. Jorge Carmona hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when David Aranda came free, but Kamal Pahlevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Treppa in the 42nd minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonard Treppa made a kick off. Tirant lo Blanch were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pitin Vallejo took the corner. Pitin Vallejo made a great header on Tirant lo Blanch's corner, it was just that Spain's Gabriel Ascaso managed to reach the ball for a save. Kamal Pahlevi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Tirant lo Blanch getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leonard Treppa hit a great ball. Carles Cherro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Kamal Pahlevi made a huge save. Tirant lo Blanch made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 78th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Kamal Pahlevi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Tirant lo Blanch from getting a goal against them. Despite being the better team, Spain failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
