The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Benga in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodor Coșereanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match, Mihăiţă Benga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eugen Cârnu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Germany's Janik Vogt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arthur Luz in the 29 minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, InglouriousBastards's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Teodor Coșereanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
