Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yu Cheng Jing started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. 6 minutes into the match, Yu Cheng Jing notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felipe Barreto didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 10th minute. Portugal's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Viriato Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cauã Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Røssland in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Yu Cheng Jing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 30 in the game by Felipe Barreto from a close distance when the talented Cauã Domingues managed to make a qualified save. Ssc Napoli's players were relieved. A collision led to Ssc Napoli getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Oddbjørn Fjærli hit a great ball. Felipe Barreto in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cauã Domingues, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 36 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cauã Domingues, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Reid in the 41st minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nick Reid's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Yu Cheng Jing made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Røssland in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Blair Lamb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Ssc Napoli's Stevie Hornsby was substituted for Benji Stone. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. When Lars Røssland came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ssc Napoli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Røssland couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Stevie Hornsby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ssc Napoli's supporters rose to their feet, but Stevie Hornsby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cauã Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 75th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Yu Cheng Jing took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Nick Reid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ssc Napoli's supporters rose to their feet, but Nick Reid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Stevie Hornsby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stevie Hornsby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Cheng Jing in the 84th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Nick Reid had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nick Reid was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Yu Cheng Jing tried to sneak it across the goal line.
