In the 90thth minute Rodolfo Miranda easily got through Guanacos's defense and fired away a shot, but Marcial Orlandus leaped left and performed a fabulous save. In the 91st minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Guanacos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Paulo Pierres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Erubiel Laurgain hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Guanacos players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
