Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Marcelo Mendebal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim. Marcelo Mendebal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Orlandus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnoldo Tonete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Pierres in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Ricardo Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Ricardo Hug got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Clemencin in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Graciano Coutinho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 29th minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Marcial Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Danilo Sanchez who took care of the corner kick. 35 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Sanchez came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Guanacos's Marcelo Mendebal getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 39th minute, Danilo Sanchez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 43rd minute, Viriato Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Orlandus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Ricardo Ekaitz fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guanacos's protests and gave Ricardo Ekaitz a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Portugal's Felipe Barreto tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Sanchez in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Guanacos's Angelino Clemencin made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 70th minute, Danilo Sanchez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guanacos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Pierres in the 77th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Bartolomeu Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guanacos made a substitution. Eustaquio Martxelin replaced Danilo Sanchez. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Ekaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guanacos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Pimentel was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. 89 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goalkeeper Marcial Orlandus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Pimentel in the 91st minute. Marcial Orlandus made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target.
