Robert Chapuis hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Tytan Wisznice's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Hieronim Lamczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Frank Peletier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tytan Wisznice's Hieronim Lamczyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hieronim Lamczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Peletier's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tytan Wisznice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Barbier was slow to take the kick. During this time France's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that David Barbier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hieronim Lamczyk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hieronim Lamczyk made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Alexis Bruneau fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored France's protests and gave Alexis Bruneau a yellow card for diving instead. The France fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tytan Wisznice had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
