Veth Crystals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwidon Patora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patryk Kensicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Veth Crystals's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Hungary's Antal Valentin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patryk Kensicki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Veth Crystals's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Hungary's Vörös Henrik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patryk Kensicki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patryk Kensicki saved Veth Crystals from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Teofil Walczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Lizewski in the 22nd minute of the match. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Patora, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartosz Lizewski. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patryk Kensicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Veth Crystals's Patryk Kensicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Veth Crystals from getting a goal against them. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patryk Kensicki having to interfere. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Veth Crystals's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patryk Kensicki came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Veth Crystals's He Lin Di was substituted for Gwidon Patora. In the 83rd minute Bartosz Lizewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Katona Janos during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Bartosz Lizewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Patryk Kensicki could save by the left post. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by He Lin Di in the 97th minute of play. Patryk Kensicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 98th minute of the match. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Veth Crystals were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
