Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulryk Bejgier started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Bejgier in the 2nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Katia having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Lars Meesters fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Segundo Katia quite easily take care of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Segundo Katia, 1-0. In the 17th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Segundo Katia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Segundo Katia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Bejgier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felix Posam who took care of the corner kick. The corner led HURACAN's Felix Posam to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnout Reekers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Netherlands booed when HURACAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Guzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, David Eikelkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Bejgier in the 37th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Segundo Katia made a huge save. If David Eikelkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, HURACAN's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ulryk Bejgier, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Ulryk Bejgier sent off a good shot on target. Segundo Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. HURACAN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aaron Frasco thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Segundo Katia, a very annoying self made goal in the 68th minute which led to 5-0. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Segundo Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, HURACAN's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Segundo Katia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when HURACAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Euloxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. HURACAN's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
