Nelsinho Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Moura in the 3rd minute. If Daniel Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th match minute, ✪ XV de Umarizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Eduardo Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute João Adolfo Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Mineiro's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Gabriel Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. Tiago Gabriel Mineiro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Felipe Barreto from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Nelsinho Bastos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viriato Moura got free with Nelsinho Bastos in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Graciano Coutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelsinho Bastos. ✪ XV de Umarizal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Graciano Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 31st minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes ✪ XV de Umarizal got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Pitta. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Graciano Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Motta struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ✪ XV de Umarizal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Adolfo Simão made a kick off. After some careless play in the ✪ XV de Umarizal defense, Graciano Coutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho Bastos. The ✪ XV de Umarizal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho Bastos should have stopped the shot. Daniel Pimentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Pimentel took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelsinho Bastos. Nelsinho Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. A collision led to ✪ XV de Umarizal getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Frank Paulista hit a great ball. Daniel Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelsinho Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 79 minutes ✪ XV de Umarizal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Pimentel who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Bartolomeu Dias got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 6-0. 79 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes of play, Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelsinho Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bartolomeu Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelsinho Bastos having to make a save. A collision led to ✪ XV de Umarizal getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rafa Pitta hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nelsinho Bastos came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias. But to his dismay, Bartolomeu Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0.
