Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baraxil Sarrate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Nofre Madariaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Valentin Voicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Netherlands booed when VILLARREAL UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlitos Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 17 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nofre Madariaga who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Netherlands's goalie and right to Hustaz Quijana. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Netherlands's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 20th minute Valentin Voicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Gijsbert ter Kruimer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VILLARREAL UNITED's Baraxil Sarrate was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, VILLARREAL UNITED's Baraxil Sarrate got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Valentin Voicu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 48th minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Valentin Voicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VILLARREAL UNITED made a substitution. Gert Vesterberg replaced Hustaz Quijana. The throw-in from Gust Ennemans in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by VILLARREAL UNITED's Franz Corral. After 73 played minutes VILLARREAL UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Carlitos Paredes. Gijsbert ter Kruimer succeeded in the game's 74th minute to get real power on a long shot . VILLARREAL UNITED's Baraxil Sarrate hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 3-1! An unexpectedly hard shot by David Eikelkamp in the 88th minute of play forced VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Baraxil Sarrate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Voicu's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. After a rather tough play, VILLARREAL UNITED's Llin Villafane got a free kick in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Netherlands had won after a very even match.
