Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) DIÖ IK's Staffan Ivarsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes DIÖ IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 10th minute of play forced DIÖ IK's goalkeeper Yngve Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yngve Göransson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Hegedus Henrik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Georg Sjöman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yngve Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 36th minute of play forced DIÖ IK's goalkeeper Yngve Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Staffan Ivarsson in the 38th minute. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Antal Valentin in the 48th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Jelm in the 52nd minute of play. When Jan-Ove Pilblad fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DIÖ IK's protests and gave Jan-Ove Pilblad a yellow card for diving instead. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yngve Göransson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Yngve Göransson made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, DIÖ IK's goalkeeper Yngve Göransson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. Olov Stolpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DIÖ IK's Tage Vassenius was substituted for Rasmus Jelm. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georg Sjöman in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Georg Sjöman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Yngve Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 played minutes DIÖ IK got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Ivarsson. Yngve Göransson was a little too slow when Major Barna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-6. Hungary played a much better game than DIÖ IK and deserved their victory. The DIÖ IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
