Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 김 최 started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If 이 하 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vavrinec Holub was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 이 하 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 12th minute, Erik Jilek made a precise shot to the right of 김 황. Vancouver Whitecaps's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when 김 최 came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vancouver Whitecaps's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 김 최 in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute, 김 최 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vancouver Whitecaps fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 28th match minute, Vancouver Whitecaps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 이 하 to maneuver through the defense. 이 하 came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vavrinec Holub could save by the left post. When 김 최 came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vancouver Whitecaps fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 김 최 couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's Erik Jilek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 김 황 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erik Jilek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 김 최 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, 박 궉 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Erik Jilek made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Vitek to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the match, 이 하 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 이 하 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Vancouver Whitecaps's 김 최 got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, 박 궉 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 최 in the 58th minute of play. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 이 하 in the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bohumir Kohout hit a great ball. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Vancouver Whitecaps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. 이 채 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 김 최 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when 김 최 came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 이 하 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Dostal in the 76th minute of play forced Vancouver Whitecaps's goalkeeper 김 황 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Vancouver Whitecaps's 김 최 made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vavrinec Holub was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, 김 최 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vavrinec Holub was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 김 최 in the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, 김 최 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and 김 최 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vancouver Whitecaps walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
