Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antal Valentin made the kick off which started today's match. Yngve Göransson came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Yngve Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Olov Stolpe sent off a good shot on target. After 13 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Bakos Endre. In the 19th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Major Barna to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of DIÖ IK's Yngve Göransson. Yngve Göransson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yngve Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Yngve Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Staffan Ivarsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. Yngve Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 40th minute of play. DIÖ IK's Yngve Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Pilblad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIÖ IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Jan-Ove Pilblad kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to DIÖ IK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Svante Skräddare hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Barna in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yngve Göransson saved DIÖ IK from getting behind. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Yngve Göransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Staffan Ivarsson made a kick off. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Yngve Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antal Valentin to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match DIÖ IK got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elof Pååk ran over to the corner to take the kick. DIÖ IK's Elof Pååk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Yngve Göransson made a huge save. Svante Skräddare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DIÖ IK's Tage Vassenius was substituted for Rasmus Jelm. After a rather tough play, DIÖ IK's Tage Vassenius got a free kick in the 74th minute. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Yngve Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Yngve Göransson in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Yngve Göransson however easily saved by the left post. Hungary played a much better game than DIÖ IK and deserved their victory. The DIÖ IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
