Austria's players were relieved. 4 minutes into the match, Tadeu Prestes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Auer, 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Falcão Soeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Auer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Jumeuc Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Falcão Soeiro hit a great ball. Hílton Penha had several of the Austria's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Fabio Auer as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 17th minute, Christian Wallner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Fabio Auer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Austria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Tadeu Prestes scored to the left of an out of position Fabio Auer, making the score, 3-0. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Marc Kronecker hit a great ball. Hílton Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Fabio Auer made a huge save. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Prestes in the 30th minute of play. Tadeu Prestes hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Tadeu Prestes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Tadeu Prestes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fabio Auer made a huge save. Leonhard Maier hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With his leg Fabio Auer managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Hílton Penha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 47 minutes into the match, Adelino Saldanha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adelino Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Prestes came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Falcão Soeiro got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Sandro Galishoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Schneider scored 6-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Ferraz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute, Tadeu Prestes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Austria's Marvin Harrer got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adelino Saldanha went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Penha came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Saldanha in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. The supporters of Jumeuc Futebol Clube booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Maier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Hílton Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Hílton Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Douglas Lima made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hílton Penha. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Tadeu Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. Jumeuc Futebol Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
