In the 27th minute of the game Wágner Souto made a throw-in which Maurício Bezerra played forward. Keld Paulsen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Horacio Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denmark's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Daníel Dal Bello scored to the left of an out of position Keld Paulsen, making the score, 4-0. Melchor Silbestre charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melchor Silbestre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Oiteiras getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Melchor Silbestre hit a great ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikkel Wulff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denmark's Lars Steen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wágner Souto in the 40 minute of the game. In the 42ndth minute of the game Olav Graversen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oiteiras's Horacio Ponc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Ponc having to interfere. Narciso Tinoco took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Oiteiras were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Denmark for a fine match.
