Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Thracia59's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Semen Ryabov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Affan Bakır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Thracia59's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Semen Ryabov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eser Akçakan's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eser Akçakan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Thracia59's Eser Akçakan got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Semen Ryabov. Thracia59's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gust Ennemans made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gustaaf Groeneveldt however managed to control. After having played for 31 minutes, Affan Bakır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thracia59's supporters crossed their fingers, but Affan Bakır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Meesters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Semen Ryabov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Thracia59's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. In the 37th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semen Ryabov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Affan Bakır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Affan Bakır made a kick off. Semen Ryabov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 56th minute of the match. Semen Ryabov came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thracia59 made a substitution. Ahmet Danış Esraf replaced Alarcón Alvarez. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thracia59's goalkeeper Semen Ryabov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semen Ryabov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Thracia59 got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Danış Esraf ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Thracia59's Ahmet Danış Esraf to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnout Reekers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Thracia59's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Semen Ryabov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 83rd minute. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Semen Ryabov threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wim Wilmes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
