Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. 15 minutes into the match, Madison's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Ernesto Emmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Madison's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bartosz Salamon in the 18th minute. The corner ended in Bartosz Salamon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ás Ronaldo got free with Arnout Reekers in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 23rd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Alfonso in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Madison's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Ernesto Emmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 minutes, Ás Ronaldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Madison and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Madison got a freekick which was hit by Ás Ronaldo. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lino Alfonso made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lino Alfonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Emmanuel came out and tried to block the shot, but Wim Wilmes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 55th minute. Madison made a substitution. Juan Fernando Quintero replaced Cristobal Chumo. In the 60th minute Mete Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Alfonso in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Lars Meesters recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ernesto Emmanuel. Lars Meesters showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Madison was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristos Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Emmanuel skillfully saved the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Madison's goalkeeper Ernesto Emmanuel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ernesto Emmanuel. That made the score 0-4 in the 74 minute of play. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ás Ronaldo went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
