Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juliusz Dzierwa started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cezary Sitko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 3rd minute of play forced MKS Mazur Ełk's goalkeeper Cezary Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Sitko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Dzierwa in the 7th minute of play. After 11 played minutes MKS Mazur Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Jerzyk. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 17 minutes, Juliusz Dzierwa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Mazur Ełk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juliusz Dzierwa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cezary Sitko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Juliusz Jerzyk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MKS Mazur Ełk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Juliusz Jerzyk kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 31st minute of play forced MKS Mazur Ełk's goalkeeper Cezary Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, MKS Mazur Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kubat Kiwior to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, David Bitănescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MKS Mazur Ełk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. A collision led to MKS Mazur Ełk getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. David Bitănescu hit a great ball. Cezary Sitko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 58th minute of the match. Wieslaw Zawacki's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wieslaw Zawacki helped the player get up and apologised. Wieslaw Zawacki hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, MKS Mazur Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Zawacki to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, MKS Mazur Ełk's Teobald Gregorczyk got a free kick in the 64th minute. Cezary Sitko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wim Wilmes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 65 minute of play. Cezary Sitko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the game, MKS Mazur Ełk's Wieslaw Zawacki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Cezary Sitko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 80th minute. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Zawacki in the 88th minute of play. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Bitănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Netherlands were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
