Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's goalie prevented a goal. Lars Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdzislaw Marczyniec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sydney Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Cuiavia Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fabian Adamczak hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sydney Pena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Cuiavia Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Majusiak. Sydney Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 27th minute of the match. Denmark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chris Nygaard in the 28th minute. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Pena having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Slawomir Malicki ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Slawomir Malicki came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cuiavia Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slawomir Malicki couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Sydney Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 52nd minute of play. Olav Graversen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarne Kirkegaard to maneuver through the defense. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Zdzislaw Marczyniec. But to his dismay, Zdzislaw Marczyniec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Donato Palladino charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Palladino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Denmark's Chris Nygaard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Slawomir Malicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Slawomir Malicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 80th minute of play forced Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Sydney Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Slawomir Malicki got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Donato Palladino got a free kick in the 88th minute. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz made a substitution. Zenon Lampe replaced Jerzy Grocholski. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. The supporters of Denmark booed when Cuiavia Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Lampe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Denmark players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
