Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stasio Burdzel might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stasio Burdzel ran back to his position shaking his head. Mickael De Koster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 27th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Burdzel in the 30th minute of play. Mickael De Koster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Michiel Montens kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, De krokante kroketjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michiel Montens to maneuver through the defense. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. After 45 minutes, Michiel Montens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De krokante kroketjes and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michiel Montens hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. When Rodolfo Meireles fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De krokante kroketjes's protests and gave Rodolfo Meireles a yellow card for diving instead. Rodolfo Meireles hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. A collision led to De krokante kroketjes getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Romain Mérat hit a great ball.
