Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. MERT FC's Nurtekin Üner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 5th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 6th minute. Nurtekin Üner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. MERT FC's Nurtekin Üner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nurtekin Üner. MERT FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Şansal Taşcıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, MERT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Nurtekin Üner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Daniel Stålberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, MERT FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Donio to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 23 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The MERT FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Naci Kaynak to strike the kick off in the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nurtekin Üner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nurtekin Üner having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naci Kaynak in the 58th minute of the match. Nurtekin Üner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Stålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Stålberg came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Nurtekin Üner. MERT FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naci Kaynak in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Daniel Stålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a free kick in the 90th minute. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Naci Kaynak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. The Netherlands supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Netherlands would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
