Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Brun O'Down didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Brun O'Down took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Eikelkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Zberea in the 8th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Zberea in the 19th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 21st minute. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down did a great save. After 25 played minutes FC BaLiSt got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Braniște. In the 26th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brun O'Down saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Zberea, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Aron Olteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Eikelkamp took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brun O'Down. Brun O'Down dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 40th minute of play forced FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper Brun O'Down to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 57th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brun O'Down made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Costel Albescu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Brun O'Down made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 61st minute of play. Brun O'Down made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laureano Cresenciano's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Brun O'Down in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Nanu in the 88th minute of the match. If Laureano Cresenciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Laureano Cresenciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
