The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Qian Xing Wei in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senthil Suşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Qian Xing Wei however easily saved by the left post. Qian Xing Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 27th minute of the match. Qian Xing Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eleven Nation Army's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Balazs Lajos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei did a great save. Qian Xing Wei stood somewhat misplaced when Balazs Lajos came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Eleven Nation Army from getting a goal against them. Katona Janos hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Viggo Lundkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viggo Lundkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Helge Brun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Helge Brun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Lundkvist in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Qian Xing Wei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 61st minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Qian Xing Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hegedus Henrik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hungary had played much better football throughout.
