Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necati Temizhan in the 28th minute. Frederic Gschwendtner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Frederic Gschwendtner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Viriato Moura put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Frederic Gschwendtner. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

StopBuyingToken made a substitution. Juarês Domingues replaced Necati Temizhan. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Viriato Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, StopBuyingToken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Grabner to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Andrade. Frederic Gschwendtner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Matos in the 98th minute. With a little luck, StopBuyingToken's Frederic Gschwendtner got control of the ball when Bartolomeu Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line.
