Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 3rd minute of play forced De Gulden Draak's goalkeeper Siim Kikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Claudius Marsching was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Gulden Draak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. Claudius Marsching kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Gulden Draak's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siim Kikas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Evert Heremans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Gulden Draak's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Germany's Frank Sachs was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Siim Kikas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Manuel Peres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. Justin Ostrowicki scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erwin Backes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Evert Heremans sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 56thth minute of the game Evert Heremans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 65 played minutes De Gulden Draak got a freekick which was hit by Claudius Marsching. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Siim Kikas in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Manuel Peres notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siim Kikas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Siim Kikas in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Claudius Marsching came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that De Gulden Draak were the better team. De Gulden Draak's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
