Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Uncheşelu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Emerald's Pompiliu Uncheşelu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nichifor Nicolae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 24th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Gabriel Vermeşan lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Tommy Kahn. Gabriel Vermeşan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gabriel Vermeşan had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nichifor Nicolae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5-0 became the score in the 57th minute when Gabriel Vermeşan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Gabriel Vermeşan put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vermeşan in the 68th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Vermeşan in the 75th minute of play. Emerald had played much better football throughout.
