Emerald's Nichifor Nicolae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Dreifuss in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Emerald getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Pompiliu Uncheşelu hit a great ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Gabriel Vermeşan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Vermeşan didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 21st minute. Emerald's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Hăulică, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Emerald's Gabriel Vermeşan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After having played for 33 minutes, Ulrich Stein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrich Stein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Cătălin Hăulică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Cătălin Hăulică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Vermeşan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Nichifor Nicolae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Vermeşan made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Germany's Nichifor Nicolae threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albin Holweck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 58 minutes Emerald's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. After 58 minutes, Linus Schwerner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Emerald players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 minutes of play, Emerald's Gabriel Vermeşan made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Cătălin Hăulică notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cătălin Hăulică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Vermeşan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Cătălin Hăulică put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Emerald fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Emerald's Gabriel Vermeşan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 84 minutes into the game, Gabriel Vermeşan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Vermeşan scored 9-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd match minute, Emerald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Hăulică to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Emerald fully deserved thier win.
