Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 3rd minute of play forced MZ Rapid's goalkeeper Laurențiu Boeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petru Huștea hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Denmark's Chris Nygaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Aarón Rey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aarón Rey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Filippos Stathopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. 20 minutes into the game, Filippos Stathopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in MZ Rapid's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurențiu Boeru came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aarón Rey in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Filippos Stathopoulos made the kick off in the second half. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippos Stathopoulos in the 54th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filippos Stathopoulos went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Adrian Gugulanu in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Olav Graversen. Aarón Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Chris Nygaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Aarón Rey took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Laurențiu Boeru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79th minute, Panait Baldovin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Laurențiu Boeru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aarón Rey scored 5-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. MZ Rapid were victorious despite being under pressure from Denmark for much of the match.
