Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Carmelo Benavides started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, SantaAna's goalkeeper Holger Arhenius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. Holger Arhenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmelo Benavides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mikkel Wulff hit a great ball. After 19 minutes of play, SantaAna's Felipe Cerna made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipe Cerna might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keld Paulsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Cerna ran back to his position shaking his head. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Cerna in the 25th minute of the match. SantaAna's Holger Arhenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SantaAna from getting a goal against them. Denmark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chris Nygaard in the 28th minute. The corner led Denmark's Chris Nygaard to fire away a dangerous shot which Holger Arhenius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Félix Suarez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Olav Graversen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 39 minutes, Carmelo Benavides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SantaAna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Benavides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Cerna in the 44th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes SantaAna got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Menjivar. SantaAna's Holger Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Carmelo Benavides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SantaAna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Benavides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Chris Nygaard. Mario Quintanilla made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felipe Cerna. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Holger Arhenius saved SantaAna from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Benavides came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chris Nygaard scored 2-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Holger Arhenius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Holger Arhenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Svenningsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Felipe Cerna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holger Arhenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SantaAna's Carmelo Benavides got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denmark were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
