In the 3rd minute, Nuno Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fhury FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tiago Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Madureira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Fhury FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hungary's Major Barna in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fhury FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Madureira in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 31st minute of play forced Fhury FC's goalkeeper Tiago Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, António Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nuno Madureira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After having played for 41 minutes, Bruno Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fhury FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Major Barna got a free kick in the 47th minute. Nuno Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nuno Madureira made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafim Rebocho who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Valter Bentes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 61st minute Isac Tristão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Isac Tristão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 70 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafim Rebocho who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 75th minute of play forced Fhury FC's goalkeeper Tiago Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Boros Benedek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tiago Rodrigues quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Antal Valentin hit a great ball. Fhury FC made a substitution. Vicente Candeias replaced Valter Bentes. Antal Valentin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tiago Rodrigues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 87 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vivaldo Rego during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fhury FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Vivaldo Rego hit a great ball. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Rodrigues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Fhury FC could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
