The Switzerland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hias Nüssli should have stopped the shot. A collision led to beşiktaş A.Ş. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Arif Bilge Usta hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Arif Bilge Usta in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Switzerland's Timo Siegmund. In the 31st minute, Alkan Acar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Switzerland's Hias Nüssli got control of the ball when Alkan Acar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferit Geylan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuele Kunz in the 37th minute of the match. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute.
