With a little luck, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Elite™- FC Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maël Zapata to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Zaccheo Andolina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerônimo da Cunha. The goal made the score 1-0. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerônimo da Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sigfrido Auletta hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atacan Rahim in the 26th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Dans Ludēns in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Porziano Marchitelli. 34 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Atacan Rahim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jerônimo da Cunha made a huge save. Zaccheo Andolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo da Cunha having to interfere. Nikos Kladogennis made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Luiz Paulo Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Paulo Seco in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Cosme Dighero got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Gianpaolo Mascari had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Dans Ludēns charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dans Ludēns the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. A collision led to Elite™- FC Galácticos getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Dans Ludēns hit a great ball. Jerônimo da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jerônimo da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Atacan Rahim came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerônimo da Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zaccheo Andolina ran back to his position shaking his head. Italy's Zaccheo Andolina got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Décio Rola was substituted for Luiz Paulo Seco. Elite™- FC Galácticos made a substitution. Silvério Vale replaced Nikos Kladogennis. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Rola in the 71st minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Rola came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigfrido Auletta kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Silvério Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Curto in the 88th minute of play. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 90th minute of play. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvério Vale in the 92nd minute. Italy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
