The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dans Ludēns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. The supporters of Elite™- FC Galácticos booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atacan Rahim struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elite™- FC Galácticos. Luiz Paulo Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Dighero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha got control of the ball when Daniel Pimentel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Dans Ludēns got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Graciano Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Graciano Coutinho couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Atacan Rahim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Atacan Rahim came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Fabricio Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atacan Rahim in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Atacan Rahim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atacan Rahim in the 32nd minute of the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atacan Rahim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Caetano got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Pimentel. Bruno Bastos made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Elite™- FC Galácticos's Inácio Cosme. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

51 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Atacan Rahim came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 52nd minute of play forced Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Elite™- FC Galácticos getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Felipe Muñoz hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atacan Rahim in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 67th minute of play forced Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerônimo da Cunha was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerônimo da Cunha saved Elite™- FC Galácticos from getting behind. Elite™- FC Galácticos made a substitution. Gino Monteiro replaced Atacan Rahim. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. In the 72nd minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Pimentel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jerônimo da Cunha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 73 played minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by Dans Ludēns. After a rather tough play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Dans Ludēns got a free kick in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Felipinho Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerônimo da Cunha was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 85 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipinho Amorim made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerônimo da Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jerônimo da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Dans Ludēns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerônimo da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolomeu Dias's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Décio Rola sent off a good shot on target. Portugal succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Elite™- FC Galácticos had controlled the match.
