The crowd rose to their feet as Robert Haegg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-1 in the 8 minute of play. In the 11th minute, Robert Haegg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Robert Haegg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robert Haegg really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 21 minutes into the match, Robert Haegg notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xie Bang Ang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xie Bang Ang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 32nd minute of play. Bruno Bastos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Haegg in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes ARedonditos de Ricota CFK got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Edorta. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Haegg was the one to do the kick off. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Haegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Emilio Gonzales was substituted for Robert Haegg. Rolando Haimar got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Isăceanu. 67 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Xie Bang Ang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xie Bang Ang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xie Bang Ang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 77th minute. Daniel Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Xie Bang Ang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Felipinho Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Beltran came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Beltran in the 86th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Clemente Beltran in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. Xie Bang Ang made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Rodolfo Miranda sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Miranda got free with Xie Bang Ang in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Browald in the 93rd minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Clemente Beltran made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ARedonditos de Ricota CFK.
