OMNI Club's Tarcísio Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chupan Lopez in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chupan Lopez got free with Tommy Kahn in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Eguntsenti in the 36th minute. Honorato Zambujal kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Chupan Lopez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the game, Pedro Luz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris Mergenthaler during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffroy Boussemart, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 63 minutes, César Prats mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OMNI Club and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Germany booed when OMNI Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Germany got a corner. OMNI Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Linus Schwerner got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tarcísio Coelho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 74th minute of play forced OMNI Club's goalkeeper Tarcísio Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tarcísio Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luz came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Zambujal during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chupan Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that OMNI Club were the better team. OMNI Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
