Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Biagio Scoca took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini. Alvaro Pardini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Pardini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niccolo Zaniolo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Niccolo Zaniolo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niccolo Zaniolo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Gianluca Mancini hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Niccolo Zaniolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Foot Ball Club di Roma's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Pardini came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niccolo Zaniolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Gianluca Mancini threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Willy Stieler quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Germany booed when Foot Ball Club di Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağız Ergünay didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Alvaro Pardini in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niccolo Zaniolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Gianluca Mancini threw the ball into play from the sideline. In the 89th minute of the match, Frank Sachs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alvaro Pardini was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Di Marco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Niccolo Zaniolo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
