Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Goolen in the 15th minute of play. The ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Roman Gregory looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Gregory to make the kick off. In the 51st minute William Andries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Gregory came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Gregory in the 55th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Billy Goolen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Abdulla Baia replaced William Westelinx. After 74 minutes, Abdulla Baia made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Dani Vassaras tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dani Vassaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulla Baia in the 80th minute of play. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Andries in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Ingelborgh to maneuver through the defense. Abdulla Baia didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 85th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Abdulla Baia ran dejectedly back to his position. In the last second Dani Vassaras throw himself and got hold of the ball when Abdulla Baia in the 89thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Gregory in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Abdulla Baia made the kick off and play began. Abdulla Baia struck a weak shot in the 102nd minute. Dani Vassaras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ouagadougou National. The crowd rose to their feet as Billy Goolen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rene Vereijt. That made the score 3-2 in the 103 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς had won after a very even match.
