When Andres Caetano fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anjullan AFC's protests and gave Andres Caetano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Elói Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FairPlay FC's zone, Angelo Uxio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Monteiro came out of the goal and Angelo Uxio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th match minute, FairPlay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan das Neves to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Uxio in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Monteiro saved FairPlay FC from getting behind. The supporters of Anjullan AFC booed when FairPlay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Angelo Uxio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Monteiro. Angelo Uxio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, FairPlay FC's goalkeeper Carlos Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Uxio. Carlos Monteiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelo Uxio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. Marco Edorta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Borges made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Anjullan AFC's Pascual Madeo.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elói Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Anjullan AFC's Marco Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Vianna in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FairPlay FC's Luiz Fábio Vianna fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Carlos Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Uxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Luiz Fábio Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot. FairPlay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fábio Vianna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Edorta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anjullan AFC's Basilio Salomone was substituted for Ismael Bernaldo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Uxio in the 61st minute of play forced FairPlay FC's goalkeeper Carlos Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Israel Meder hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Anjullan AFC's Israel Meder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FairPlay FC's Guilherme Prata was substituted for Luiz Fábio Vianna. Anjullan AFC's David Herrera was substituted for Sebastian Panpili. Amadeo Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Jose Artizar made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Monteiro. FairPlay FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jose Artizar took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Monteiro. Carlos Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 92 minutes into the match, FairPlay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Artizar came free, but Carlos Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Artizar scored 5-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Anjullan AFC fully deserved thier win.
