In the 9th minute Jedrzej Bochynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Neculce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Bochynski in the 13th minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Aron Neculce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Sorin Burdulea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zenon Wawro kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Aron Neculce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milosz Drapinski's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Adam Skonieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Neculce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jedrzej Bochynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Aron Neculce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Skonieczny in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Jedrzej Bochynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 43rd minute of the match Zenon Wawro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zenon Wawro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Zenon Wawro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Albert Vaştag got a free kick in the 51st minute. Iosif Mihele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bartosz Luty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of QxQ Torun booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Burdulea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Robert Onofrei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartosz Luty was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. QxQ Torun's Bartosz Luty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Griguță in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Sabin Bojonca seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sabin Bojonca the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ninjas in Pyjamas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sabin Bojonca had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ninjas in Pyjamas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 73rd minute, the referee gave QxQ Torun a penalty. Aleks Para looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Aron Neculce. In the 76th match minute, Ninjas in Pyjamas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Burdulea to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, QxQ Torun's Adam Skonieczny sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Neculce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ionuț Măcriș's late challenge caught a QxQ Torun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionuț Măcriș helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ninjas in Pyjamas getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ionuț Măcriș hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Aleks Para managed to get in a good position for a shot. QxQ Torun's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleks Para was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Neculce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the game, QxQ Torun's Milosz Drapinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Neculce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2.
