Sport Club Mavericks's attentive Jairo Bastos managed to snatch the ball when Beppe Bordon made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. After 19 minutes, Beppe Bordon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Aquile Azzurre and the Sport Club Mavericks players grew even worse after the yellow card. Beppe Bordon hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's Claudemiro Fragoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulvio Gabriele narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Miro Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xande Gay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudemiro Fragoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulvio Gabriele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Sport Club Mavericks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernando Lucas in the 32nd minute. Sport Club Mavericks's Fernando Lucas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fulvio Gabriele in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 36 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goal looked a bit too open when Claudemiro Fragoso came free, but Fulvio Gabriele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sport Club Mavericks's Deivid Fantini in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 55 played minutes FC Aquile Azzurre got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Busillo. Sport Club Mavericks's Sílvio Luiz de Godoi was substituted for Jairo Bastos. Sport Club Mavericks's Elder Arantes was substituted for Deivid Fantini. Andrea Busillo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Fulvio Gabriele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélio Nascimento. With a little luck, FC Aquile Azzurre's Fulvio Gabriele got control of the ball when Elder Arantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miro Klose kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Fernando Lucas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulvio Gabriele skillfully saved the ball. Sport Club Mavericks's attentive Serafim Toledo managed to snatch the ball when Beppe Bordon made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Fulvio Gabriele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Sport Club Mavericks's Hélio Nascimento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fulvio Gabriele made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Fulvio Gabriele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélio Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 90th minute.

Sport Club Mavericks's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
